Fitness classes on a paddle board with Ofitness
Immerse yourself in the world of stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) with lessons offered by Ofitness at the Coteau-du-Lac rental kiosk. Whether you’re a beginner, a yoga enthusiast or a water fitness enthusiast, we’ve got something for you!
Minimum age: 16
Equipment: All equipment is provided. You can also bring your own board if it’s already inflated and ready to use.
Important: You must be able to swim to take part.
Course schedule
SUP Balance & Yoga
Pilates and yoga on a SUP board. All boards are anchored for stability and safety.
Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Capacity: 8 people per course
Skills 1 – SUP Initiation
2-hour course to learn the basics: safety, weather, rules, launching and paddling techniques. You’ll leave with a Paddle Canada Calm Water certificate.
Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Capacity: 6 people
Perfect for: beginners or those who want to brush up on the basics.
SUP Fitness
Dynamic training on an anchored board: planking, push-ups, burpees, lunges, etc. Ideal for combining fun, fitness and balance.
Time: 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Capacity: 8 people
Skills 2 – Intermediate techniques
A 1.5-hour course for paddlers who have completed Skills 1. You’ll perfect your techniques: pivots, overhangs, single-side paddling, foot position changes.
Time: 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
Capacity: 6 people
Prerequisites: Skills 1
