Awaken the adventurer in you
Pointe-des-Cascades’ Nature Park
Located at the eastern end of Pointe-des-Cascades, Pointe-des-Cascades’ Nature Park is the ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts. Walk to the end of the pier and discover the lighthouse indicating the entrance to the Soulanges Canal. From the belvedere, you can admire the point where the Ottawa River meets the St. Lawrence River – a superb vantage point! For history buffs, you’ll have the opportunity to discover the remains of military canals along the trails. For those with a taste for sailing, two launching ramps are available. The 5 kilometers of trails are perfect for an outdoor stroll in summer, and for a fatbike or snowshoe tour in winter.

Parking: due to the temporary closure of a section of the Canal Promenade, we suggest users use the parking lot at the bottom of the nature park to park their car. Parking is free during the winter period.
N.B.: in the event of a snowstorm, snow removal from the streets is prioritized; there may be a delay before the access points are cleared of snow. We ask you not to venture by car into access areas that have not yet been cleared of snow.
Toilets: Available at the pergola of Parc Saint-Pierre (village core), or temporary toilets at the P2 parking lot, and at the fatbike rental center.
