Cancellation and refund policy

Cancellation and refund: equipment rental

More than 7 days before the booking date: no charge, simply contact us.

7 days prior to reservation date: cancellation fee of $10 + taxes per boat

48 hours or less before booking: no refund

 

Modifying a reservation

Date and time: You can change your reservation up to 24 hours before your booking. The first change is free, then $5 + tax per additional change will be added to your reservation.

Adding a boat & changing the type: You can make boat changes free of charge up to 24 hours before your outing. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of the boats you want. Please contact us to check availability. Any downgrading (withdrawal of a boat) will be considered and treated as a cancellation.

Temperature

The decision to cancel in the event of bad weather will be made by Soulanges Canal Park, and will be announced that morning on all its platforms. If no notice has been published, the kiosk is open. If a customer does not show up due to bad weather, even though the kiosk is open, he/she will not be reimbursed. If the Soulanges Canal Park decides to close its activities that morning due to bad weather, participants will receive a gift certificate for the value of their reservation, or will be able to choose a date to postpone their rental (no refund).

By booking with Soulanges Canal Park, you agree to :

  • Ensure that each participant in your group complies with the access conditions for the various activities, and signs the associated questionnaires and releases. (No refunds will be made for non-compliance with eligibility conditions).
  • Prepare yourself for the activity by being aware of the associated risks
  • Respect Soulanges Canal Park staff and associated suppliers
  • Respect other participants and Park users
  • Respect the equipment loaned to you and return it in good condition
  • Respect the fauna and flora of the Park: leave no trace
  • Sort your waste in the right place
