Marianne Sigouin-Lebel

Marianne has been Managing Director of the Soulanges Canal Park since its creation in 2021. Trained in business administration (tourism profile), project management and has a Master degree in public administration. Before taking on the position of general manager of the Park, she worked in regional tourism development at Développement Vaudreuil-Soulanges (DEV) for 8 years.
Passionate about the outdoors and culture, she is in charge of relations with the community, consultation and planning. The canal is truly her second home! Citizen participation and sustainable development are subjects that particularly appeal to him!

Julie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Translation with a minor in Spanish from Concordia University and has over 20 years of experience in management, project coordination, communications, as well as event logistics and production gained at Cirque du Soleil (12 years) and the organization MU (over 10 years, including the last 5 as Director of Production and Co-Director of the organization).
She has worked in Montreal, Europe, Mexico, and the United States. Driven by the desire to evolve within organizations with a social, cultural, and community dimension, she aspires to contribute to the outreach of her environment.
Energetic and passionate about running, Julie was charmed by the natural setting of the Soulanges cycling path and canal, which greatly contributed to her happiness 18 years ago when she chose to settle in Coteau-du-Lac!

Mylène is trained in landscape and ornamental horticulture marketing and in arts, letters and communication. She worked in horticulture for a few years before joining the Park team in 2022. Originally from the municipality of Les Cèdres, the Soulanges Canal has been part of the landscape of his life since childhood.
Resourceful, calm and environmentally conscious, Mylène’s mandate is to plan the implementation of the cultural and landscape master plan for the Soulanges Canal Park.
Charlotte holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in operations management for service companies, as well as in process and quality improvement. She worked for several years as a stage manager in the City of Montreal’s Réseau des grands parcs department.
She is passionate about outdoor activities such as fishing, cross-country skiing and hiking in the forest. It’s in nature that Charlotte really comes into her own!
Determined, hard-working and versatile, she is responsible for planning and coordinating the activities and services offered to the public in Soulanges Canal Park. It works to develop projects in collaboration with local tourism and cultural stakeholders, businesses and community organizations, to raise the profile of the canal and the region as a whole.

Adèle
Rental Attendant
Adèle Gosselin is in her 2nd year at Parc du canal. She’s an athletic girl who loves being outdoors, whether it’s to enjoy the green spaces of Coteau-du-Lac, her hometown, or the tropical landscapes of Costa Rica, which she visits every year. Adele is our “talker” of the group, she loves to chat with people!
Thomas
Recreation attendant
A citizen of Coteau-du-Lac, Thomas Péladeau joined the Soulanges Canal Park team in 2023. A top-level sportsman, he is passionate about running, a sport in which he frequently takes part in national competitions. Discreet and hard-working, he takes part in park development and maintenance projects of all kinds, and assists our permanent team at the Pointe-des-Cascades office.
