The Village of Locks
An exceptional nature and heritage estate
Nature, culture and vacation: an all-inclusive for lovers of beautiful things!
Located on Lake Saint-Louis, this magnificent estate is surrounded by water, at the mouth of the Soulanges Canal. Formerly an industrial site used for the construction of the canal, it was redefined as a campground for Expo 67 (40 minutes from Montreal), then hosted a summer theater and a large restaurant for about 30 years.
After a three-year hiatus, this site with exceptional potential came back to life in the summer of 2022, with the reopening of the bar/terrace with a street food offer, the improvement of the riverbanks and the organization of a series of cultural events.
