Earth Day 2023 – Community clean-up and conference

Come celebrate Earth Day with us along the Soulanges Canal and the Soulanges Bike Path! The municipalities of Pointe-des-Cascades, Les Cèdres, Coteau-du-Lac, Les Coteaux and Saint-Zotique invite you to a collective cleanup followed by a conference on Saturday, April 22! A citizen contribution to the beauty of common spaces!

Schedule :

10:00 am : start of the chore, at the meeting point of your choice

Pointe-des-Cascades: Parc Saint-Pierre

Les Cèdres: Soulanges bike path, corner of Saint-Féréol

Coteau-du-Lac: Downtown, bicycle path incentive parking

Les Coteaux: Parc Embleme

Saint-Zotique: 1250 rue Principale (City Hall)
** Gloves and bags are provided, just bring your clothes and your good mood!

11:30 a.m.: End of the chore activity and distribution of tickets for the draws

11:30 am to 1:30 pm: move to the Wilson Pavilion, free lunch (bring your picnic!).

Exhibition (basement gallery)“Somewhere in the Memories” featuring the works of Stéphanie Viens | 11 am to 4 pm
Free visit and possible meeting with the artist.

1:30 p.m.: Conference begins, bythe Earth Day organization. Free of charge!

DESCRIPTION – Current environmental issues and the limits of our planet sometimes make it seem as if nothing can be done on an individual level. It’s not true! Whether it is in our food, our housing, our travel or our consumption, each of our choices is an opportunity to act. This workshop offers economical and ecological tools and tricks to take back the power over our daily footprint.
