The shuttle provides a cross-river connection between the municipal dock in Les Cèdres and Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. It is ideal for cyclists looking to complete a scenic route or for nature enthusiasts wishing to enjoy a picnic on Île aux Vaches.

  1. What are the shuttle stops?

The shuttle operates between Les Cèdres Dock and Île-aux-Vaches Dock, in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield (Saint-Timothée sector).

  • From Les Cèdres Dock, you can access the Soulanges Bike Path and the Parc du canal de Soulanges.
  • From ÃŽle-aux-Vaches Dock, you can continue your journey (on foot or by bicycle) to the Parc regional des îles de Saint-Timothée.

 

  1. What is the shuttle schedule? What are the exact departure and arrival times?

On operating days, the shuttle runs back and forth between the two docks.

Crossings are provided on demand throughout the day, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (unless otherwise indicated in the posted schedule). Wait times are rarely longer than 15 minutes.

Please note that service may be suspended at any time, without notice, if conditions require it (weather conditions or mechanical issues). Safety is always our priority.

 

  1. Can I reserve a spot on the shuttle?

Reservations are not available. Service is offered on a first come, first served basis.

 

  1. What payment methods are accepted?

Fares are paid on site by debit or credit card only. Cash is not accepted.

 

  1. How many passengers and bicycles can the shuttle accommodate per crossing?

The shuttle can accommodate a maximum of 12 passengers and 12 bicycles per crossing.

 

  1. How long does the crossing take?

The crossing takes approximately 7 minutes each way.

If the shuttle is not at the dock when you arrive, the wait is rarely longer than 15 minutes.

 

  1. Can I book a private shuttle crossing?
