Midi en chanson @ L’Embouchure

On Sunday, July 17, come and enjoy a Midi en chanson at L’Embouchure. The theme in the spotlight: French song! Come and discover or rediscover classics of this musical genre.

Gilles Pilon will first present songs by Serge Reggiani in the first part of the first Midi en chanson. He will share, accompanied on the guitar by Pierre Monfils, a dozen of Reggiani’s best-known songs.

Also accompanied on guitar by Pierre Monfils, André Pelletier will then perform songs by Yves Duteil, in the second part of this recital of French songs.

Singer-songwriter from Coteau-du-Lac, Gilles Pilon has produced two albums of original songs, “Spring, Northern Hemisphere and “Happy People”. He is a member of the “Éphémères” writing group of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield and is also a chorister in the Bach and Baroque ensemble of Montreal.

A member of various Outaouais vocal groups for almost 40 years, André Pelletier has participated in several musicals, and has presented a few solo recitals in various musical universes, such as the Beatles, crooners of the 50s and 60s, Georges Brassens and Yves Duteil.
