What to do at the Parc du Canal de Soulanges this summer?
We’re delighted to announce our 2025 summer programming! This summer, get ready for a festive and vibrant season, full of wonderful discoveries. On the program: outdoor shows, creative workshops and unforgettable moments with family and friends.
Here’s what’s in store for you this summer:
Launch of summer activities
- June 19 | Equipment rental kiosks (watercrafts and bikes) open in Coteau-du-Lac *
- June 26 | Watercraft rental kiosk opens at l’Embouchure*.
- June 26 | Opening night at L’Embouchure (watch for the program to be announced soon!)

Sports and outdoor activities
- Every Saturday from May 31 to October 11 at 9:30 a.m. | Samedis Zens in Thomas-Monro / Louis-Stanislas-Pariseau Park.
- July 5 | ArchéoTour by kayak in collaboration with Parks Canada
- July 17 | Canal trip: paddling for nature with COBAVER-VS
- July 27 | ArchéoTour by bicycle in collaboration with Parks Canada
- August 2 | Technical course on paddle board with OFitness
- August 6 | Mission Mille Tonnes shoreline cleanup in collaboration with Comité Zip
- August 16 | ArchéoTour by kayak in collaboration with Parks Canada
- August 23 | Descent into the canal: edition in collaboration with the Municipality of Pointe-des-Cascades
Creative and educational workshops at Placottoir (every Saturday from May 18 to August 24)
- June 7 | Musical tales and stories with Robert Payant
- July 5 | Tree-themed painting class (for children) with Isabelle Turcotte
- July 17th (exceptionally on a 5 @7 formula) | Historical talk on the birth of the Soulanges Canal, by the Société de recherches historiques de Pointe-des-Cascades
- July 19 | Glass painting with Jade Cousineau
- August 2| Historical workshop on military canals with Parks Canada
- September 9 | Flower card workshop with Jade Cousineau
- September 13| Watercolor bird workshop with Jade Cousineau
Special Events
- Every Saturday | Farmers’ market with Marché ÉcoLocal CSUR
- June 7| FRAS race, fundraiser for people with autism or intellectual disabilities
- June 20| Aquatic invasive species awareness event with Ozéro Solutions (in partnership with Pêche et Océans Canada)
- July 6 | Weekend to fight cancer (Vélo-Québec)
- July 20 | Municipal Water Festival of Les Coteaux and Coteau-du-Lac
