Collective clean up chore for Earth Day
Développement Vaudreuil-Soulanges (DEV) and the municipalities bordering the Soulanges bike path invite citizens to a great collective chore in honor of Earth Day. Earth Day is a great time to get involved for the planet and this collective chore is the perfect way to start the beautiful season.
The chore will be held on April 24, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the municipalities of Pointe-des-Cascades, Les Cèdres, Coteau-du-Lac, Les Coteaux, Saint-Zotique and Rivière-Beaudette. In order to ensure compliance with sanitary measures and control attendance, registrations are required this year. Those wishing to register are invited to do so at www.canaldesoulanges.ca. On the day of the event, bags and gloves will be provided for those who do not have them. Note that the event is postponed to the next day in the event of bad weather.
Sanitary measures
Departures could be done in waves, if the number of participants requires it. Information will be emailed to registrants where applicable. When registering, the names of all group participants must be indicated in the web form. The organizers wish to remind that outdoor activities are authorized in our region provided that the groups do not exceed eight people and that they wear a face covering if they do not come from the same home.
